This is a basic class where you will receive a step by step guide on how to have your cakes ready for decorating into any future design.
• How to cut level and prepare a cake for decorating
• How to make a basic Buttercream
• How to carve and fill a cake
• A guide to the use of boards and drums
• How to colour sugarpastes
• How to cover a cake professionally using sugarpaste
• Basic decorating techniques
• Decorate very simply ready to take home
You will receive a small cake for decorating including any boards/drums and a box to take the finished cake home in.
All products including sugarpastes, buttercream, colouring, and icings etc., along with many hints and tips.
The equipment is also supplied including an apron.

The Outrageous Cake Academy has a designated, well-equipped room offering a range of classes and parties.
Among the many skills you will learn are cupcake decorating, great for kids too this one, royal icing, Belgian chocolate designs, and lace.
