Play Area

We now have a fully enclosed play area for the kids next to the Food Hall and the "awesome" Jumping Pillow, which is free to Samford Restaurant diners. We put out some tables in the paddock, so you can enjoy the lovely views down the estuary during your lunch.

Beach Hut Ice Cream

Not to be missed (on a sunny day)!  We're pleased to provide Farmer Bill's ice cream from Colne Engaine in Essex.  Truuly scrumptious ice cream from a small diary herd, managed to RSPCA Freedom Food standards and hand made into an 'indecisive' range of flavours.

 

The Farm

Whilst being home to the Food Hall, we are also a working farm. We’re reviving our herd of Red Poll cattle; part of the Suffolk Trinity along with Suffolk Horses & Suffolk Sheep. The Red Polls are often in the paddocks in front of the Food Hall and we're delighted to show them off.

Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

As a key node to explore the Suffolk Coast and Heaths area, particularly the west bank of the River Orwell, we are delighted to have developed a route walk with the AONB Unit.  Download the map
