We'd be pleased to propose a private Masterclass for you, using the many artisanal skills we have on-site.

We also host a variety of educational visits in the cookery school and/or the auditorium, a range of corporate events for team building or away-days and even specific connoisseur evenings, for example for (second-time) stag parties!  Simply email to Events team or called the directly on 01473 786 618 for further details.  Such events often use the restaurant or private dining rooms.

Outrageous Cake Company

Gaze in wonderment at the amazing display of unique cakes made for unique people in the Outrageous Cake Company’s kitchen.
Husband and wife team Graham and Tina Weare create bespoke cakes for all occasions using the best ingredients from super cake pops to five-tier works of art.
The experienced couple have created cakes for West End stars, Lords and Ladies as well as personalised cakes for children through to great-great grandparents.



Outrageous Cake Academy

Learn how to make the most amazing cakes in the Outrageous Cake Academy artisan kitchen.
Skills taught include royal icing piping, a wide range of cake decorating where you can create the most incredible designs on everything from a cup cake to elaborate wedding cake.
Classes are available for youngsters, special needs and daily adult courses. There are also group sessions and team-bonding workshops along with one on one sessions.

Our Own Kitchen

Our in-house creative and experienced chef James and his team prepare delicious tarts, pies, quiches, salads and dips – all for sale in the Delicatessen in the Food Hall.

The team use meat and vegetables from our own farms where possible, along with other locally sourced ingredients or the best of the rest (all ingredients available from the Food Hall), to create ready to eat products that are sure to delight.

With an ever expanding range, look out for the “Our Own” label in the Food Hall, to enjoy a freshly prepared product unique to us. Products change with the seasons, so you are sure to find something new to savour.
