Suffolk Food Hall scoops award at the Rural Oscars

We are delighted to announce we have won the 'Best Local' food award as part of the Countryside Alliance Rural Oscars.

Suffolk Food Hall last won this Countryside Alliance award in 2011 and have since diversified to prove that Suffolk is still at the heart of the food and drink market. Speaking at the awards in Parliament yesterday, we thanked our loyal customers and exceptionally strong team who have helped us achieve this.

About us

As Suffolk farmers, we are proud to provide you with much of the fantastic food produced locally.  A host of activities at Suffolk Food Hall ensure that you experience quality, local, food with all its provenance, in everything that we do.

There is all that you would expect from a nationally-recognised farm shop, and more... traditional carcass to customer butchery, scratch bakery operating seven days a week, stunning fishmonger's counter, delightful delicatessen with lots of products made in the Cookhouse commercial kitchens, wine & beer merchant, greengrocer, grocery, chocolatier...

Your enjoyment is extended with the Home & Garden department, lovely walks along the river in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, children playing on the Jumping Pillow whilst parents have coffee in the Café... The Cookhouse houses the bistro-styled Restaurant, the Cookery School with a multitude of Events, function and private dining rooms, as well as a series of other businesses... and don't forget the Pilates Studio...

We're open seven days a week, just south of Ipswich, underneath the Orwell Bridge.
